I lived in Singapore for 5 years and have missed the food every day since. We came here with a big crowd for lunch and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was great and no one left hungry.

We've been looking for a new Dim Sum place ever since Kim Son in Stafford closed. Golden Dim Sum is a worthy successor! The food is very, very good and fresh. The service is a little uneven but not anything egregious. The ambiance is kind of what you'd expect in Chinatown, minimalist but folksy. There are only two small issues I have - the smell of incense gives me a headache so if you don't like the smell of it, that could be a turnoff for you. The second issue is that in order to be efficient in turning over the tables, they have plastic tablecloths piles about 20 high underneath the lazy Susan which made seating a little uncomfortable for some in my party. But overall, I'm happy to have found an authentic dim sum place that has a fair amount of of the staple items that Kim Son served. Definitely recommend!

I wish I would've snagged more photos!!!! We came during lunch time, and were able to get SO much food for a cheap price. Did NOT leave hungry. The overall ambiance was more like walking into a HUGE motel lobby with a chandelier and tons of tables everywhere. As soon as I walked in, I knew they meant business.

This is our go to after Kim son across the street stopped serving dim sum. It's so good and service is always good and quick. They have lots of options and something for everyone. Very casual, family friendly place.

This is our go-to spot for an authentic dim sum experience. Nestled in a cozy hole-in-the-wall, they serve up freshly cooked food and a wide variety of dim sum options. But don't be fooled by the small size - they offer an impressive array of traditional and lesser-known Chinese dishes. The staff is fast-paced and efficient, ensuring you're seated promptly on weekdays. And while it can get busy on the weekends, the quality of the food and the intimate atmosphere make it worth the potential wait. We highly recommend this place for an authentic Chinese dining experience that won't break the bank

Very good dum sum place. Not as good as the old Kim Son or Fungs kitchen but it's adequate. You need to order the food. Plenty of options. Food taste is good. Just hit the spot for dim sum. Location: in a small complex with somewhat limited parking spaces, especially on Sunday around noon time. Staff: well.. typical dimsum place (barely speak English) but sufficient to order things correctly. It's a good thing they have photos of the foods. The ambiance is a little crowded at times. Somewhat loud if there are lots of ppl.

This restaurant seems to get a bad rep for cleanliness and service, but I really enjoy the food here! Yes the restaurant is a bit dated, and yes sometimes you have to wave to get the server's attention, but honestly the dim sum is really good. This is in my category of "hole in the wall" Chinese restaurant with questionable service but really good food. In top of their wide selection of dim sum, they have pictures on the wall of all the a la carte dishes you can order. Try the black bean clams, steamed chicken, steamed pork ribs, egg custard Overall it's a great choice if you want dim sum that opens early, give this place a try!

My sister-in-law suggested we come here while we were in Houston for a visit. She raved about how delicious their dim sum is, so I had to give it a try. The place was pretty packed when we visited that Sunday. We were seated pretty quickly. This is not your typical push cart type of dim sum restaurant. Everything is made to order. The dim sum dishes were pretty good, but not the best I've had. Nothing really stood out to me - just your average dim sum place IMO. But what DID stand out to me was our server! She was so sweet and fast. She even boxed up our leftovers. What?!? I was shocked at how she kept her composure even though it was very hectic in there. I wish I remembered her name, but I'm Dory lol. Golden Dim Sum deserves 3 stars, but because of the service they deserve one more star! Go give them a try! Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5
